Abstract: Today, there are various problems around human societies. So, it is a challenge for humans to be mentally&#xD;
healthy. For a person to be adjusted in his environment, it is very important to be mentally healthy. Good mental&#xD;
health is obvious for a healthy people. Mental disorder is very dangerous and responsible for many psychological&#xD;
diseases and for maladjustment also. The main objective of the topic is to compare mental health between rural and&#xD;
urban adolescent students of Chhattisgargh. A sample size of 200 secondary adolescent students was selected and&#xD;
taken up for the study. General Health Questionnaires-28 (GHQ-28), developed by Goldberg and Hillier in 1979 used&#xD;
for the study. It is found that there are significant differences among rural and urban students.</description>

Abstract: Given the current time of covid, the incidence of&#xD;
mental illness has risen sharply and posed serious&#xD;
problem for the whole world. In such time, it has a&#xD;
serious effect on the children of adolescence. Mental&#xD;
health is essential for a children of adolescence and&#xD;
for their future success and well-being. The sample&#xD;
of the research consisted of 803 students of 11th&#xD;
standards of kendriya vidyalaya higher secondary&#xD;
schools of Gujarat state. In the present research, the&#xD;
survey research method was used. The kendriya&#xD;
vidyalaya higher secondary schools was selected&#xD;
through random sampling method and 11th&#xD;
standards students was selected through cluster&#xD;
sampling method. The result found that there is&#xD;
higher level of Mental health in High Academic&#xD;
achievement students than Low Academic&#xD;
achievement. This result is useful for the kendriya&#xD;
vidyalaya schools Principal, teacher, counselor to&#xD;
develop their student’s future.&#xD;

Abstract: Adolescent emotional responses and behaviors are often&#xD;
passed off as growth pangs and academic stress, thereby missing those that need deeper&#xD;
understanding and mental health interventions. Aim: The aim of the study is to understand&#xD;
mental health status among the school adolescents in Tezpur, Assam. Materials and Methods:&#xD;
The present study was a cross sectional study that used convenience sampling in selection of the&#xD;
schools. A total of 10 schools were selected for the purpose of the study. 1403 adolescents were&#xD;
selected for data analysis. Socio-Demographic Performa and Strengths and Difficulties&#xD;
Questionnaire [SDQ] were administered to the participants. Results: The results indicated that&#xD;
five predictors (gender, education, family type, academic performance, socio economic status in&#xD;
the family) explained 9.79% of the variance (F = 5.040, P &lt; .000) in total difficulty levels:&#xD;
(Academic performance; β= 0.08; t = 3.15; P =.002) and (Socio economic status; β = .07, t =&#xD;
3.02, P =.003). Conclusion: In the study less than one tenth of the participants have some mental&#xD;
health issues and this calls for concern. Schools should have standing operation procedures in&#xD;
place to periodically screen adolescents for mental health related issues.</description>
