Most dealt with the ritual performances and descriptions of its practices embedded in tradition.1 This paper aims to analyze in a nutshell, the views and beliefs of the early Mizo people in the area of liberation and its related issues, and thereby attempting to bring out certain problems or shortcomings in the whole framework.
