Abstract: Sêrkàwn Concert was organised during 1932 to 1946 in the last week of August or&#xD;
the first week of September every year. The Concert was one of the most important and&#xD;
valuable literary movement in Mizo literature, it produced several literary genres like drama,&#xD;
poetry, chanting etc. The students of Sêrkàwn Middle English School used to sing a new&#xD;
secular songs composed by their teachers in this concert. Not only the vocal choir, the&#xD;
students also displayed dramas, recited some new songs and exhibited some musical&#xD;
instruments to entertain the audiences. Many people from Sêrkàwn and Lunglei used to&#xD;
attend the concert every year.</summary>
